01Who we are
iVolt Power Solutions is owned and operated by Thirtyx Technology Services ("Thirtyx"), based in Nigeria. Thirtyx is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Thirtyx also operates a separate Macro & Market Research | Technical Analysis Education platform, which is covered by its own privacy policy.
02Information we collect
Account information
iVolt uses Google Sign-In as its only account sign-in method — we do not offer or use Telegram to sign you in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google to create and manage your account, including your watchlist, subscription status, and Enterprise API access.
Community and support channels
Our Telegram group and WhatsApp number are community and support channels, not sign-in methods. We do not automatically collect your Telegram ID or message history by publishing these links. If you message us directly — for example to list equipment, book a consultancy session, or ask for support — we see whatever you choose to send us in that conversation (such as your phone number and the content of your message), which we use to respond to you.
Device and usage data
- A theme preference (light/dark) stored locally in your browser via
localStorage. - A push-notification client identifier, if you enable price/market alerts, used to deliver those alerts to your browser.
- General usage data such as which features and market categories you view, used to improve the product.
Payment and billing information
Electricity bill payments, Ad-Free subscriptions, Enterprise REST API subscriptions, and equipment listing fees are processed by our payment partner, Paystack. We do not store your card details — Paystack handles and secures that data directly. We retain records of the transaction (amount, status, meter/DISCO details for bill payments) needed to fulfil your request and for accounting purposes.
Enterprise REST API access
If you subscribe to the Enterprise REST API, we generate and store an API key tied to your account, along with its activation and expiry dates, to authenticate and rate-limit your requests.
Information you submit
If you list equipment for sale or advertising, we collect the product name, description, price, and any contact details you choose to include in that listing. If you book a Consultancy & Strategic Advisory session, we collect whatever information you share with us via WhatsApp to arrange and deliver that session.
Trade Desk — import & export quote requests
If you submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) through the Trade Desk, which requires Google Sign-In, we collect your company name, contact person, business email, phone number, and country/region, along with the trade direction (import or export), product/service category, and the specifications you provide — quantity, preferred incoterm, and target delivery timeline for import requests, or intended use case and expected integration volume for export requests — plus any additional notes you add. We use this to respond to your request, route it internally, and let you track its status under "My requests."
Market and pricing data
We publish equipment prices, FX rates, power-sector stock data, and an aggregate iVolt Price Index gathered from public retailer websites and licensed market-data providers. This is not personal data about you.

04Who we share data with
- Paystack — to process payments (bill payments, subscriptions, listing fees).
- VTpass — to verify meter numbers and deliver electricity tokens for bill payment requests.
- Google — for sign-in authentication, the only sign-in method iVolt offers.
- Telegram and WhatsApp — only if you choose to message us directly through those platforms (e.g. for a listing, consultancy booking, or support request); we do not use either platform to sign you in or to push notifications, which are delivered via browser push instead.
- Google Firebase — our backend database provider, used to securely store account data, market alerts, and Trade Desk (import/export) quote requests.
- Adsterra, our advertising partner, which may serve ads within the app. Adsterra's own privacy practices govern any data it collects independently.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
05Data retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Equipment listings remain visible until removed by you or, for fee-based listings, until the listing period lapses.
06Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and its NDPR framework, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal/accounting retention requirements
- Withdraw consent for optional processing, such as push notifications
- Object to processing carried out for direct marketing

07Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-controlled backend infrastructure — to protect the data we hold. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your Google account secure.
08Children's privacy
iVolt is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as iVolt's features evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of iVolt after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

01The service
iVolt provides power-market intelligence for Nigeria, including equipment price comparisons, FX and power-sector stock data, electricity bill payment, market alerts, and a paid equipment-listing feature. Features are provided "as available" and may change, be added, or be discontinued at our discretion.
02Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use iVolt. Google Sign-In is the only account sign-in method iVolt offers — we do not use Telegram to sign you in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it, and for keeping your Google account secure.
03Market data and pricing information
Equipment prices, FX rates, and stock data are gathered from public retailer listings and third-party market-data providers. This information is provided for reference and comparison purposes only. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and prices shown may differ from what a retailer actually charges at checkout.
iVolt is not a party to any transaction you make with a third-party retailer based on information shown in the app. Any purchase you make is solely between you and that retailer.
04Electricity bill payments
Electricity bill payments are processed via our third-party partner, VTpass, and routed to the relevant Distribution Company (DISCO). By submitting a bill payment:
- You are responsible for entering the correct meter number and DISCO. iVolt is not liable for tokens or payments sent to an incorrectly entered meter.
- Once a token has been successfully generated and dispensed, the transaction generally cannot be reversed or refunded, consistent with standard electricity-vending practice in Nigeria.
- Delivery of tokens depends on VTpass and the relevant DISCO's systems; we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by those third parties, though we will assist in resolving disputes where reasonably possible.
05Paid equipment listings
You may list electrical/solar equipment for price comparison and wider visibility for a one-time fee of ₦1,000 per product, payable via Paystack. This fee covers listing placement only; iVolt does not guarantee sales, inquiries, or any particular level of visibility. Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing has been published. You are responsible for the accuracy of the product name, description, and price you submit, and must have the right to sell or advertise the item listed.
06Ad-Free subscription
An optional paid subscription (₦499/month) removes in-app promotional content for its duration. Subscriptions are billed via Paystack; pricing and billing frequency are shown at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions are non-refundable once activated, and access reverts to the free, ad-supported tier automatically at the end of the paid period.
07Enterprise REST API subscription
An optional paid subscription (₦3,999/month) grants programmatic access to iVolt's market data via a REST API, authenticated with a personal API key issued on activation. API keys expire 31 days after activation; a renewal payment before expiry extends the same key rather than issuing a new one. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential and for all use of the API under it. We may rate-limit or suspend API access to protect service stability.
08Consultancy & Strategic Advisory
iVolt offers a paid Consultancy & Strategic Advisory service, billed hourly (Individual and Enterprise rates shown in-app) and booked via WhatsApp. This service is separate from the free market data shown in the app; rates, scope, and any refund terms for a given engagement are agreed directly with you at the time of booking.
09Trade Desk — import & export quote requests
iVolt's Trade Desk connects Nigerian buyers with import listings for Tier-1 solar, storage, and power-quality hardware, and connects global & regional buyers with export listings for iVolt's power-market intelligence APIs, energy management SaaS, and custom automation bots. Submitting a Request for Quote (RFQ) requires Google Sign-In and is a non-binding expression of interest — it is not an order, invoice, or contract.
We do not guarantee that a quote will be issued, that any pricing, availability, or incoterm shown or discussed will be honored, or that a resulting sale will be completed. Any resulting import/export transaction — including price, quantities, shipping, customs clearance, and incoterms — is negotiated and concluded directly between you and iVolt (or the relevant supplier/buyer counterparty) outside the RFQ form, under terms agreed at that time. You are responsible for the accuracy of the company, contact, and specification details you submit in an RFQ. We aim to respond to RFQs within 1–2 business days but do not guarantee response times.
10Not financial advice
FX rates, power-sector stock data, and price-index figures shown in iVolt are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice. You should not make financial decisions based solely on data shown in the app. Always verify figures independently before acting on them.
11Prohibited conduct
- Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload iVolt's infrastructure or scraping systems
- Submitting fraudulent, counterfeit, or misleading equipment listings
- Using the service for any unlawful purpose, including under Nigeria's Cybercrimes Act 2015
- Impersonating another person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with a business
- Sharing or reselling your Enterprise API key to a third party
12Intellectual property
The iVolt name, logo, design, and underlying software are owned by Thirtyx Technology Services. Aggregated market data displayed in the app may originate from third-party sources and remains subject to those sources' own rights. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute iVolt's compiled data or software without our written permission.
13Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iVolt and Thirtyx Technology Services are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses relating to inaccurate market data, third-party retailer pricing, or delays caused by VTpass, Paystack, or DISCOs. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 3 months preceding the claim.
14Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to iVolt if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service and disconnect your linked accounts at any time.
15Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as iVolt evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of iVolt after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

02Essential technologies
Some cookies and local storage entries are required for iVolt to function — for example, keeping you signed in and remembering your theme. These cannot be switched off without affecting core functionality, though you can clear them manually via your browser settings.
03Advertising cookies
If you're on the free (ad-supported) tier, our advertising partner Adsterra may set cookies to serve and measure ads within the app. Adsterra's use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one. Subscribing to Ad-Free stops these ads, and the associated cookies, from loading.
04Push notifications
If you enable push notifications for price or market alerts, your browser stores a client identifier used to deliver those alerts directly to your browser. iVolt does not use Telegram, WhatsApp, or any other messaging platform to deliver these alerts. You can revoke this at any time from the notification bell in the app, or from your browser/device notification settings.
05Managing cookies and local storage
- Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies via their settings menu.
- Clearing your browser's site data for iVolt will reset your theme preference and may sign you out.
- Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in and some features from working correctly.
